SETO is a student-run and -funded organization that provides unique and experimental theatrical opportunities on SIUE's campus for both theater and non-theater students. Every academic year SETO puts on two shows, one in the fall and one in the spring, which are completely student produced, directed, designed, crewed, and performed.

"SETO strives to provide theatrical events and opportunities on campus to every individual student in every field of study. We seek to entertain and educate the student body with our unique focus of experimental theater, our goal to entertain and build a professional camaraderie with the students and departments on campus."
